We at Action Health and Safety Services are a dedicated team that is committed to providing you our client and our local communities with quality service through professionalism and teamwork. We strive for continuous improvement through education and training for our employees with an emphasis on the safety.
Our vision since 1992 has been to be number one in the provision of medical, safety and security services to facilities and remote locations in Western Canada and since that time we have been seen as innovative leaders in Health, Safety and Security services specifically designed for the oil and gas sector.
Our highly qualified professional personnel have the ability to meet all of your needs whether it is providing health care as the result of an incident, securing your site and your assets or assisting you in the development, implementation or enforcement of your health and safety program. Many of our employees are versed in both the medic side of the business as well as the safety side of the business. In fact a number of our clients chose us because we expect more from our employees, whether is it conducting safety sign-ins or on site orientations.
We are COR Certified in British Columbia and Alberta, ISNetworld Compliant as well as HSE Registry Compliant.
We work with the major oil and gas producers as well as numerous community associations as we truly believe that we need to support the communities where we work and life.
In 2008 as a public service, we created, in partnership with STARS and Encana, a training video on preparing a remote site for a Helicopter Medi-Vac. We continue to provide assistance either financially or though volunteer work to a number of local agencies like Dawson Creek Hospital Association, Ducks Unlimited, Calgary Children's Emergency Foundation to name a few.
We have been recognized by both peers and industry in general with numerous awards over the years. In 2010 we were listed by Profit Magazine on the Profit 100 Canada's Fastest Growing Companies as well our CEO was listed by the same Magazine in the Top 100 of Canada's Top Female Entrepreneurs and as one of Oilweek's Magazines Rise Stars.
